Privacy policy
Last updated October 18, 2026. Capture Photo Booths is a sole proprietorship based in San Jose, California. This page explains what we collect when you use capturebooths.com or book a booth, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Quote and booking details: your name, email, phone (optional), event date, time, venue, city, booth setup, print text and any message you send.
- Photos you upload: an image you add to your print design.
- Your signature: the name you type to sign a booking agreement, with the date and time.
- Event photos: photos guests take at the booth during your event.
- Basic site data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages visited). Your planner setup is saved only in your own browser.
How we use it
- To email your quote, plan your event, confirm bookings, send payment links and contact you about your event.
- To build and print your photo strips.
- To share a few event photos on our website and social media, unless you opt out when booking. We never post photos of children without your written OK.
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
Who helps us
- Netlify hosts this website and receives the forms you send.
- Google Workspace sends and stores our email.
- Our payment provider, once connected, processes payments. We never see or store your full card number.
How long we keep it
We keep quote and booking records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet tax and accounting requirements, then delete them. Uploaded photos for print designs are deleted after your event unless you ask us to keep them.
Your choices and rights
- Ask to see, correct or delete your information, or ask us to remove a photo we posted: email hello@capturebooths.com.
- California residents have rights under California privacy law, including the right to know what we collect and to request deletion. We don't sell or share personal information as those terms are defined there.
